American College of Physicians

The American College of Physicians (ACP) is a national organization of internists — physicians who specialize in the prevention, detection and treatment of illnesses in adults. ACP is the largest medical-specialty organization and second-largest physician group in the United States. Its membership of 130,000 includes internists, internal medicine subspecialists, and medical students, residents, and fellows.

CCM is pleased to work closely with ACP in the Middle East, Greece, Turkey and North Africa.

With their online Medical Knowledge Self-Assessment Program (MKSAP15) applications, ACP and CCM offer educational opportunities in the following therapeutic categories:

  • Cardiovascular Medicine
  • Dermatology
  • Endocrinology and Metabolism
  • Gastroenterology and Hepatology
  • General Internal Medicine
  • Hematology and Oncology
  • Infectious Disease
  • Nephrology
  • Neurology
  • Pulmonary and Critical Care Medicine
  • Rheumatology

MKSAP is published as 11 authoritative books and is designed to:

  • help key prescribers to close gaps between actual care and preferred standards of care based on proven evidence
  • diagnose disease states that are less common and may be overlooked and/or confusing
  • improve management of co-morbid conditions that can complicate patient care
  • determine when to refer patients for surgery or care by a specialist
